From the Desk of
Chairman Karl Simmeth: United We Stand
We are blessed to live in a democracy where the people choose their candidates and elect their own leaders. After last night’s results, I called John Garcia and congratulated him on his victory in the Republican Primary for Erie County Sheriff.
I want to thank both Karen Healy-Case and John Garcia for stepping up to serve their community, both of whom are strong, decorated members of Law Enforcement. The mission of our Republican Party is clear – elect a strong law and order sheriff who will fight for the safety and security of our community.
As we look towards November it must be our unified goal to block the anti-police agenda from the left and elect our Party’s Nominee as the next Sheriff of Erie County. Just last night we watched as India Walton, a self-proclaimed “Democrat-Socialist”, defeating 4 term incumbent Mayor Byron Brown. Her key messaging point – cutting the Buffalo Police Department budget by $7.5 Million Dollars.
In Erie County Republicans are outnumbered by Democrats by 2 to 1, and we have consistently beat the odds because of the hard work of dedicated committee members and volunteers who recognize that we have one mission: electing strong, commonsense Republican leadership.
Our Party has a proud legacy of growing, winning, and leading, and I am eager to continue electing strong Republicans in Erie County. United we stand, and together we will win in November.
God Bless,
Chairman Karl Simmeth
