Happy Independence Day! As our nation joins together to celebrate this 4th of July, I wanted to share with you a few thoughts on the 244th birthday of the United States of America.


“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”


This is the land of opportunity, where Americans of all backgrounds can make their own future. As Republicans, we fight to defend these principles of self-determination and elect leaders who protect our American Dream.

But the American Dream is in danger. We have all watched on the news as rioters break windows, loot businesses, and burn the American Flag. We have heard Politicians, including our own Governor Andrew Cuomo, use their bully pulpit to say that America was never that great.

On this 4th of July, 2020 I ask you all to join me and remember those who sacrificed everything to make the United States of America the greatest nation on earth. I am proud to fly my American Flag in support of the nation I love, and in remembrance of the men and women who have given their lives protecting our American Dream.
