Tonawanda, Husband and Father.

It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the passing of our dear friend, Mayor Ron Pilozzi. He was a true American Hero, who bravely served his country abroad in the US Army as well as his community here at home. For 16 years he served the City of Tonawanda as Alderman and Mayor. He loved this community, and his work to grow and support his city left a legacy for future leaders.
Ron Pilozzi was a strong leader, who exemplified what it meant to put people first. His passion for his community was evident in every decision he made, and he leaves a legacy of service as a challenge to us.
Ron Pilozzi was the husband of 52 years to Christine M. (nee Warren) Pilozzi; father of Kimberly (Laura Anderson), Michele (Robert Stuart), Kelly and Todd (Christine) Pilozzi; grandfather of Grant, Cameron, Evelyn, Maliea and Gloria; son of the late James and Ida Pilozzi, brother of the late Richard (surviving spouse Debbie) Pilozzi; brother-in-law of Barbara (Ronald) Strzyz, Deborah (Max) and Mark (Sue) Warren and Melanie (Jeff) Solomon; also many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held tomorrow Wednesday, June 8th, and Thursday, June 9th, from 3-7 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan and Broad Sts.), in Tonawanda.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 10th, at 10 AM, in St. Francis of Assisi RC Church, 150 Broad St., in Tonawanda. Everyone welcome to attend.
